In 3 years, TOUR FOR LIFE has raised over $43,000 for Mental Health charity, and featured Ghostface Killah, Onyx, Kool G Rap, Sheek Louch, Cormega, Nems, 38 Spesh, Cappadonna, Rah Digga, Rittz, Dizzy Wright, Canibus, CL Smooth, R.A. The Rugged Man, Brother Ali, and many more.
Just as importantly; we have raised more awareness than we ever thought possible after just 3 years. We have generated so many conversations, gotten many people within the Hip Hop community to “TALK ABOUT IT”, partake in self care, and open up what has been a closed door for decades now. Tour For Life is saving lives, and changing lives for the better, while spreading love, knowledge and support for both mental health management and indie music. Our events include on-site therapists offering free sessions, live artists/painting and community mending art projects, raffles, mental health professionals distributing promo materials/literarure and other self care resources, and of course amazing live music performances. These are shows like no other, and we are truly blessed to have the talented and compassionate staff at MHC help us take on the frontlines of such an important fight.

In Partnership with Mental Health CT

The annual Tour For Life mental health & suicide prevention charity tour raises more than just awareness and funding for two fatally important areas of our health – it is intended to end the stigmas that surround mental health –  potentially save lives!

… and we’re starting right here within the hip hop community …

A team of best friends with the shared passion for mental health & suicide prevention advocacy – quickly expanded to include associates & advocates from across the country, coming together to create a safe environment built on a foundation of love & support over the span of 4 cities and 4 days, and touched the masses.

Our team including tour managers, hosts, stage crews and artists/performers formed a strong wave of positive energy traveling in the same direction, both in the physical and with their intentions.

When you have that many talented, passionate people working towards the same common goal and cause, amazing things happen.

We had live artwork/painting, dancers, speakers, counselors and mental health professionals, along with live music performances.  We were told by attendees that they “needed these events” and graciously accepted their gratitude and thank-yous.

We heard extremely difficult stories of tragedy and loss to suicide, substance abuse, and struggles with mental health conditions, but also encouragement, hope, will, love and support.  It was a heavily emotional 4 days of hard work, but when you love what you do, it’s all worth it.
