King Vir2ue is a Long Island, NY native that began creating music at the early age of 6 with at CASIO keyboard Christmas gift. He later began building a love for musical artists like Earth, Wind and Fire, James Taylor, James Brown and Stevie Wonder.
Most influential was his father’s extensive Jazz collection which had
become his go-to for musical inspiration. After the passing of his
father in his arms, that record collection became his most prized possession – used many times for future records he sampled.
During college years at LIU: CW Post Campus King Vir2ue found himself freestyling and battle rapping on a daily basis. His love for Hip-Hop strengthened as he mastered the art of Beat Boxing.
Known for his his ability to beat box full fledged cyphers with emcees from all 5 Boroughs and across Long Island. After later winning a Battle Rap contest, earning him the chance to meet one of his favorite producers, The Beatnuts, Vir2ue was inspired to start making beats.
Entering the media world post-college, Vir2ue navigated the television circuit through stations such as VH1, MTV and BET – where he met K Banger – a friendship that would later spark future endeavors. The 2020 pandemic brought Vir2ue back from an almost retired beatmaking status, leading him to team up with his cousin SoSoon, an artist who had been building a name for himself since childhood and had used several of Vir2ue’s beats on his albums.
